After completing her masters and bachelors in Economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) in 2010, Ayesha remained keenly involved in research and advocacy in the development sector. She has been actively engaged in youth mobilization, synergies with civil society, sensitization of policy makers and has delivered workshops for media reporters on key issues that hamper development and growth of the country. During her experience, she has published three policy briefs for Annual Status of Education Report (ASER) and has provided research expertise to the Punjab Government on water pricing for conservation. She is particularly passionate about education sector development and believes in free markets and limited role of government for improved business environment. Currently, Ayesha is the Head of Private Enterprise Division at PRIME Institute – a well-known public policy think tank operating in Pakistan to promote pro-market policies.s.
