Shahid Mehmood

His career as an Economist and researcher spans over a timeframe of almost 15 years now. The rich, diverse experience has imbued him with a good understanding of forces that shape and propel the global and domestic economy. During his professional career, consultancy and research roles have helped him gather valuable insights about both the public and private sectors. Further, a desire to communicate understanding of the issues that confront global and Pakistani economy to wider audience led him to become a writer for leading newspapers in Pakistan (DAWN, NEWS, TFT, and Business Recorder). In between these assignments, he has also managed to garner teaching experience in leading public and private institutes.
