He is an alumnus of NUST Business School, the International Akademie of Leadership, and the Atlas Leadership Academy.

After a career in journalism working with both state and private broadcasters, Syed Ali Ehsan served as Program Director at PRIME from 2016 to 2019, and Chief Editor of the Technology Application Unit from 2019 to 2022. He later moved into leadership roles at the construction IT startup Banjaiga.com and at Rawalpindi’s oldest privately funded non-profit, the Saba Orphan Care Trust.

He has also worked as a consultant on E-Commerce, and Transformation Planning and drafted the initial version of E-Commerce Policy 2.0.
