Barrister Aziz Nishtar has extensive experience in law, taxation, and corporate governance. He has served as Deputy Commissioner of Inland Revenue, international tax news editor for a leading US journal, in-house tax counsel for a major Pakistani corporation, and held roles in trade development and business strategy with Pakistan International Airlines. He has sat on the Boards of the Privatization Commission and the Federal Board of Investment, and advised governments on legislative drafting, business, and international law. An accredited mediator with the UK’s Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution, he is part of a core group pioneering commercial mediation in Pakistan.
